About me

Lee Jenna Tyler 2I live to write and write to live. This has been my motto for years as I studied the craft from all angles. The latest “revolution” has everyone’s heads spinning. I studied the traditional model for years, then took out some time to study the new model as well to ascertain the truth (or lack thereof) of the cries of riches and rewards.. And in general, the answer lies somewhere in between. So I am now stepping out from my research desk and spreading my wings as far as they will go. I have decided that the hybrid model is the best for all parties involved.

I have been working the Story Cartel Courses lately and I am thrilled at what Joe Bunting has set up as a community. Currently, I am working on an anthology that was born out of that course. I write flash fiction, short stories, my literary fiction book “The Grove” I am working on. My suspense series, The Social Media Suspense Series, starts with The Cursor, The Book of Face, and a third in the series with the working title of “Pinteresting People”…no, really. 😉 You can find me on my book marketing blog http://www.thepointofthequill.com, on Google+, @LeeJTyler, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest and other social media and forums where writers gather to talk about what they should be doing. ;p Soon, I will open the doors to my author websitehttp://www.leejtyler.com. Come visit, I would love to hear from you!

Sending {{{~luv~}}}. Send me back a message via my contact page and let me know what you need to work on. (I’m quite serious about that.)

More? Ok…

I’m the kind of girl who can’t watch this without crying, no matter how much I watch it; I’ve lost count now.

I value honesty above all else, except for God.

I value the thirst for knowledge, but the moral fiber to say, “No, beyond this point, we cannot go,” in the hunt for that knowledge.

I trust animals more than people, but I’m working on that.

I believe a good sense of humor will get you through anything. And I know from experience a great deal of what “anything” can define. Laugh, you’ll feel better.

  1. Hi Lee,

I read your bio and am impressed by your efforts to help people. I am always looking for ways to get around the writer’s block that creeps up occasionally. I look forward to reading your newsletter.

Any thoughts on this? What is your opinion?
